Year Turnover

Holidays would soon be over and whole new year would start, and I feel as if time has passed tooo quickly and I haven't been doing much. This year has passed rather too quickly so much so that I haven't even time to stop and pause for a second. It's another new year approaching and it only seems as though this year has just started. Today we will all say goodbye to year 2007 and welcome in the year 2008. Hopefully, next year would be different and better.

Wishing all of you a Happy New Year...

Nikon S200

I finally bought a new camera. I've been meaning to get one for quite some time. I bought a Nikon COOLPIX S200 which has 7.1 megapixels with a 3x Zoom-Nikkor lens, 2.5" LCD monitor and electronic VR. I bought it for RM688.

Happy with the new toy. No regrets or complaints. =D

Hope In Dark Places

I actually did pass my T4 and T5. Which is a good thing. After getting the papers back and realising that this saturday is another T4 and T5 test, I, oh well, feel like fainting. What's more, there's this moral education exam that I don't even know no head and tail about. The more I think about the exam, the more strangest of thoughts come to my mind. Like:-

"Cannot laaa... Must get 100 marks laa... See?"
"For me borderline passes are not good enough. Must get at least over 80.."
"50 is my standard for the passing mark.."
"I must get more than hundred. 100 marks is the passing mark"
"I'm not happy with my results. I should at least get 80"

It's like I feel I'm being pressured by these people to study but my inner me is resisting it. Opting instead to computer games and TV. No wonder they say those two boxes destroy lives. But then again, if I don't study, I'm bound to fail. Failing means being barred from exams. Being barred from exams means I have to see those lecturers for yet another semester. Which means paying the tuition fees again.

I guess that's how life's work. Just one action can lead to so many consequences that sometimes makes me ask myself, am I doing the right thing? Going the right way? If not, which way should I go? I'm pretty sure everyone has in some point of life asked this question before. Which is probably why Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life." In our darkest moments, in our frail despair, He is someone who will never leave us nor forsake us. And I'm really grateful for this hope.

Random #2

Progress test for T4 and T5 is tomorrow. In about 10 hours I'll probably be flipping through the exam papers finding a question which I actually know how to do. Not like it's never happened to me before but somehow I'm starting to feel more tense than I used to. Probably got it from Mel. I feel kinda bad cause I dragged her to Midvalley yesterday even when her face was shouting "I wanna STUDY!!!" Only she didn't say it out loud. But we had fun dressing Khar En up. Or at least I did. Hehe. She tried on some clothes and we took pictures of it.

Mel and I checked out some laptops as well and I want a MacBook but no funds. *sighs*

I guess I can only just dream I owned one. If only dreams come true. *sighs again*

Personality Test

I did a personality test and it's quite accurate. =)

Your view on yourself:

You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties. (kinda true...)

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:

You are a true romantic. When you are in love, you will do anything and everything to keep your love true. (maybe.. *shrugs*)

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:

You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person. (somewhat true...)

The seriousness of your love:

You are very serious about relationships and aren't interested in wasting time with people you don't really like. If you meet the right person, you will fall deeply and beautifully in love. (Probably.. When I meet the right person, I'll let you know... =p)

Your views on education:

Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can. (It's important and I wanna study hard but too lazy to.. And in the end the flesh wins.. *sighs*)

The right job for you:

You have plenty of dream jobs but have little chance of doing any of them if you don't focus on something in particular. You need to choose something and go for it to be happy and achieve success. (I want a job with a big, fat salary and a big office. Maybe I'm asking too much..)

How do you view success:

You are afraid of failure and scared to have a go at the career you would like to have in case you don't succeed. Don't give up when you haven't yet even started! Be courageous. (Sometimes only larr..)

What are you most afraid of:

You are afraid of having no one to rely on in times of trouble. You don't ever want to be unable to take care of yourself. Independence is important to you. (Never really gave this much thought before but I rely more on myself than others)

Who is your true self:

You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve. (Oklar.. Quite true...)

Left Or Right Brain?

A friend sent this through an email. You guys can try and see.

1. Hold your hands together, as if you were praying. Look at your hands. If you see
Left thumb is below the right thumb ---> left brain
Right thumb is below the left thumb ---> right brain

2. Fold your arms in front of you (as if you are angry)
Right arm above left arm ---> left brain
Left arm above right arm ---> right brain

Based on 1+2 (order important),
below is the interpretation of your personality:

Right-Left
==========
Considerate, traditional, indirect type
Can instantly read other's emotion, and respond friendly by natures.
Although not very into taking initiatives in moving forward, but this person will always take a step back in supporting others.
Stable personality and considerate, give others a being protected feeling.
But the weakness is they cannot say no; regardless how unwilling they are, they will take care of others.

Right-Right
===========
Loves challenges type
Straight foward.
Once they decided on one thing, will take action right away.
Very curious, and love challenges.
Dare to face dangers without thinking through (sometimes foolishly).
Their weakness is they don't want to listen to others, will filter in only what whey want to hear in a conversation, and very subjective.
However, because of their straightforward attitude, they tend to be fairly popular.

Left-Left
=========
Dedicated, cold, perfectionist
Very logical in all aspects.
The only way to defeat (or win over) him/her is through reasons.
Has a lot of prides, and feeling strongly about doing the right thing.
If they are your friends, they are very trustworthy.
However, if they are your opponents, they will be very tough to deal with.
Because they can be very "anal" as a perfectionist, they usually leave a bad impression of being hard to deal with when first met.

Left-Right
==========
Likes to take care of others, leader type
Has a cool and keen observation ability to see through situations, yet still can be considerate in others needs.
Because of their cool and calm nature, and strong sense of responsibility, they tend to become head of a group.
Popular among people.
However, they may not be able to help themselves in meddling because they want to take care of others too much.
Very concerned about how others view them, and always on alert.

I was left-left. Perfectionist? Maybe. Dedicated and cold? Depends in regards to what I guess. :p

Random #1

It's a Monday... Enough said...

Traffic today was really really bad. All the people rushing to get to school on time. Hmmm.. But at least I was not very late.

I did the spiritual gifts test again. My highest was exhortation, followed by teaching and wisdom. My lowest was apostleship, hospitality and mercy. I'm not merciful. Hmm.. So don't get me mad.

The T2 lecturer added more extra classes. Haiz...

I went to watch Evan Almighty yesterday with Jian. This movie doesn't make sense at all. A man can build a big ark, animals can help build the ark as well, a flood can suddenly disappear... Utter nonsense... Waste of time and money.. =(

New Blog!!!

New post in a new blog. Somehow, I have gotten tired of the old one so I decided to well, get a new one. Sounds like changing clothes. Only, it wouldn't be that often. I hope. I got back my PT 2 Paper 2 results back today. I wouldn't say it's good but at least I PASSED!!! I so thought I would fail. But then again, the results weren't that good. And Mel was sulking away at her paper. But hopefully she cheer up abit after the wiper incident.

At class, we learnt about computer systems. And the lecturer was explaining about how the CPU have a primary storage aka main memory. This primary storage is divided into two; RAM and ROM. She said that the RAM has volatile memory meaning that the contents of the memory are erased once the computer is switched off. We were joking that after the class, we likewise will erase all the memory.

All my plans for next week has also crashed with all the extra classes. AGAIN!! Mann... This is depressing. Oh well... *sighs*
