Treasured Memories

A week long break. Sounds good but it's gonna be over before I know it and I know this for a fact. Hmph..

Did some looking through some old photos during schooling days. I admit I missed those days. And I must say, I suddenly felt proud of all we did during that time. Whether it's talking when there's no teacher, sleeping in chemistry (not history) class, going for chess and mathematics competitions, rounding the school asking people to pay club fees (like ah long) though I wasn't the treasurer, decorating class for merdeka month (we won the best decorated class for 4 years, i think), doing class projects together (especially the ones on drama with Brian, Jin Young and Yee Ying), making fun of Sim and beating him at chess in every single game (and he initiates all of them), playing with hamsters, winning RM200 worth of Pizza Hut vouchers, etc.

I remembered how we spent time putting each and every piece of crepe paper on the ceiling.

And how this appeared in a Merdeka 51 Celebration Magazine.

Feeling utmost pride of my class..

I miss those days. And the people. But everyone's everywhere. Just miss you guys really. *sounding emo*

Truly Refreshing

Had a really long weekend. On Saturday, drove up to Tanjung Malim with some friends to just relax (not chill) at the hotsprings and also to attend Joel and Leann's wedding also held there.

We almost got lost as the place was really deep in some jungle, so much so it is not even in the GPS map. The place is just awesome and I think when it's fully completed, it will be magnificent.

The hottest 'pool'

The spot where the hot water, diverted through
a pipe from the source, flows in the 'pool'

A track leading to the jungle somewhere

Isn't it just beautiful?

The middle 'pool' (in terms of heat)

The 'jungle'

The supposed-to-be swimming pool
which is not yet completed
(that's why it's so dirty)

A 12 feet swimming pool? Good grief..

The super-duper cold stream which we swam in
(we swam upper stream though)

So we swam in a really hot pool, then a not so hot one and a super icy cold stream. The one that was really refreshing was the cold one. It was really like ice water. Justin took so long to get into the water.

This was a truly remarkable and unforgettable time. After that, we showered and had a change of clothes at one of the chalets there.

A chalet

As we were sitting around waiting for the wedding to start, some of them went for durians which Uncle Edwin 'sponsored'. It was my first time seeing people eating durians at weddings. ^^

Kudos to Uncle Edwin for everything and Uncle Larry and his family for the food. =) And congratulations Joel and Leann.

Today's traffic was considerably smooth-flowing. I took only 20 minutes to reach college as opposed to 45 minutes just the day before. On Wednesday, there was a 2.5km jam just as I went into the highway. So anyway, I thought I was going to be late today as I left home at 7.30am. I overslept. Did group accounts homework till around quite late last night. At first I thought it was because maybe a lot of people have already 'balik kampung', but Lydia said Federal was super jam today. So maybe it's just my lucky day. =)

As I was already running late, I didn't have time for breakfast or coffee. Went to class feeling hungry. Ms Menon didn't even give us a lunch break so we (or at least I did) starved from last night till around 2.30pm when I actually had lunch. And then had to try to finish the 'angpau' she gave. Basically, more homework.

Selamat Hari Raya to all who are celebrating.

Also, happy birthday to Sam, who just got his iPhone. =)

Had F7 EDC today. Almost overslept again. =)

After that had lunch at Pyramid. Ate at Ajisen Ramen. Ordered something which I forgot the name. (It was quite long and I just finished F7 class). They had there in the menu 3 chillies so I ordered expecting it to be spicy. It turned out to not have any single spiciness. So I added more chilli to make it spicier but it is still not spicy at all. Quite disappointed, really. But the food's okay.

Then we went to watch Angel & Demons. It was smart, as usual, Dan Brown. Some parts were quite predictable even though I haven't read the book. (Maybe because I'm as smart as them). Haha.

Other than that, a pretty normal day.

Hot! Hot! Hot!

After around half a year not blogging, I decided to post something. Seems like time passes toooo quickly and I just wish I have more than just 24 hours. There's too much things to be done and so less sleep, less play and more work.

These few days weather has been so hot I wonder whether it's gonna be like Melbourne. Hopefully not. I already have not enough sleep. So far it has only been 32 degrees. So not YET like Melbourne. But if the haze continues.. who knows?

Finally, just wanna wish a few people happy birthday.. Alex (18th Feb) and Darren (19th Feb). Happy Birthday and many returns..

Lots of love,
Eliza

Can History Get Any More Worse?

Holidays are over. Classes have commence again.
Today was the first day back to classes and the first subject was F4: Corporate and Business Law. I didn't really know what was going on and I have a not so good feeling about this subject. It's like history rebirth and except much worse. All I knew was the lecturer said the word "law" many many times.. Oh well!!

My new timetable 'seems' more relaxed as now I only have 8am-6pm classes once a week. Other days are not as long. But I know it's not going to be that easy. There's no such thing as LIFE!!

I'm just saying these things to vent my frustration that the holidays are over and I can't sack the college admin. Really wished I could..

T9 Preparing Taxation Computations?
There goes my RM1000..

Anyway, just glad it's all over and hopefully pass all papers...

Now enjoying the long-awaited holidays.. =)

Back From Nowhere

After a hiatus, decided to post something before people start nagging and tagging me again.
As many of you all know I've not been feeling well. Having migraine for 3 straight days and nausea and flu for a whole week (still not recovered yet) and now having backaches.. And yes, I know it's not a good excuse for not blogging, BUT at least it's an excuse.. hehe..

Still thinking whether to go for the donation thing this Tuesday. I'm not scared of blood but more of worried it'll be pain and I don't want to faint there. A bit scary, I must say, as I've never done this before. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst. Sounds like going to war.

Sincere condolences to Teik Han on the passing of his grandfather.

Life's Over, Back To No Life

One week of holiday is going to end. Back to study life, if that is even a life. This one week seems to pass so fast, in one blink of an eye, it's gone...

It's only 3 more weeks to finals and I'm not prepared for it at all. Feels terrible being a midnight oil burner but at the same time just can't pull my lazy self together and heed Ms. Joyce's advice. Exams are just round the corner as in the corner is already very near. EDC and EFC will be starting soon and I wonder will I be there staring at the lecturer thinking what on earth is going on? I hope not..

Weather is not helping in any way either. It's too hot. I think the sun is coming towards us. Nah, that's just some crazy hypothesis which doesn't make sense and is never going to happen. I blame it on the heat. Imagine getting headache after waking up from sleep and so hot that taking 2-3 baths a day is not enough. People suggest soaking in mud but hmm.. that'll probably make me sicker than I already feel I am. Maybe I'm just dreading going back to jail class. =(

Today..
I went to Aeon Bukit Tinggi Klang and had KFC for lunch. This reminded me of the time I had KFC with Darren, Mel, and Khar En. I remembered Darren put the bread wrapped with tissue in Khar En's bag.

The next day...

Us: Hey Khar En, did you find anything in your bag ar?
Khar: What? Find what?
Us: Anything wrapped in a tissue?
Khar: Ohh... Ceh.. Tahat wan I throw away already lor... What is it anyway?
Us: What? You threw away something without even looking at what it is first?
Khar: Aiya.. I just see it's not mine ma I throw away laa...
Us: *sweats literally* (who throws away something without looking?)
Us: So.. If next time your boyfriend wraps a diamond ring in a tissue to surprise you and puts it in your bag, you'll just throw it away?
Khar: Aiya.. That time I will go find back la..
Us: Then go find back the thing you found in your bag and threw away la..
Khar: For what? Nothing valuable also..
Us: So next time you'll tell that to your bf also la?
Khar: Aiya(this girl likes to say aiya wan).. If it's diamond ring, I'll go find it la.. Can sell ma..
Us: ... *sweats and immediately faints*

Beware: This girl (Khar En) is not for the faint of heart. The way she talks.. Gosh.. Only she can come out with things like these...

Khar En, this post is for you..

Progress test for T4 and T5 is tomorrow. In about 10 hours I'll probably be flipping through the exam papers finding a question which I actually know how to do. Not like it's never happened to me before but somehow I'm starting to feel more tense than I used to. Probably got it from Mel. I feel kinda bad cause I dragged her to Midvalley yesterday even when her face was shouting "I wanna STUDY!!!" Only she didn't say it out loud. But we had fun dressing Khar En up. Or at least I did. Hehe. She tried on some clothes and we took pictures of it.

Mel and I checked out some laptops as well and I want a MacBook but no funds. *sighs*

I guess I can only just dream I owned one. If only dreams come true. *sighs again*

It's a Monday... Enough said...

Traffic today was really really bad. All the people rushing to get to school on time. Hmmm.. But at least I was not very late.

I did the spiritual gifts test again. My highest was exhortation, followed by teaching and wisdom. My lowest was apostleship, hospitality and mercy. I'm not merciful. Hmm.. So don't get me mad.

The T2 lecturer added more extra classes. Haiz...

I went to watch Evan Almighty yesterday with Jian. This movie doesn't make sense at all. A man can build a big ark, animals can help build the ark as well, a flood can suddenly disappear... Utter nonsense... Waste of time and money.. =(
